The Cursillo movement has been active in the Catholic Church for nearly 70 years. It has touched the lives of millions of Catholics worldwide, and is referred to as a movement in that it helps you to deepen your walk with Christ through prayer, study and action.
It begins with an incredible three-day retreat and offers fellowship, prayers, meetings, and a community of like-minded Catholics who are encouraged to continue in the movement for the rest of their lives. This is referred to as the "4th Day."
Typically the Men’s Retreat is in the spring and the Women’s Retreat is in the fall. Current and upcoming Retreats, including registration deadlines, appear in the Calendar.
Many other Christian groups such as Marriage Encounter and the Catholic high school retreat named Kairos use the Cursillo "model." SS. Peter & Paul has an active group of "Cursillistas" who are here to support the church and encourage those who want to revitalize their faith.
