Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross
A tradition that goes back to the Middle Ages. European pilgrims would travel to the Holy Land to walk the same steps as Jesus did in his final hours. The idea of having stations to represent each part of Jesus’ journey came into practice for those who could not travel to the Holy Land themselves.March 21: Mystery of the Cross - Praying the Stations with Pope Francis, presented by Women’s Inductive Bible Study
March 28: By His Cross, Stations for Young Catholics and Their Families, presented by 6th Grade Formation students
April 4: Stations of the Cross for Today’s Disciples, presented by Men’s Wake Up!
April 11: Shadow Stations, presented by Middle School students followed by the Fish Fry. RSVP below.
This devotion is followed by a simple soup and bread supper served by our 2nd graders who are preparing for their First Eucharist this Spring. The final Friday (April 11) will be a fish fry by reservation only. See the link below to RSVP.Donations accepted at the soup supper will go to Rocklin & Loomis Kids In Need.
