Altar Servers

• You get fully involved in the Mass and gain a better understanding of its meaning.
• It opens your heart to a deeper relationship with God.
• You learn life skills like teamwork, communication, and self-confidence.
• It gives you an opportunity to be more involved in your church community.
• You become a role model at Mass.

• Assist the priest at Mass
• Prepare the altar, light the candles, ring the bells, handle special vessels.
• Actively participate in the Mass, responding to prayers and singing hymns.

• Servers are boys and girls who have already made their First Holy Communion and are in the fourth grade or older.
• After training, they are scheduled at their Mass time preference along with a seasoned altar server.  Altar servers are typically scheduled to serve once every 3 to 6 weeks. 

• Trainings are typically held each 3rd Sunday of the month at 12:30 pm. Sign up by emailing [email protected] or by filling out the form below.
• Other trainings can be scheduled to accommodate the scheduling needs of prospective servers. Email to arrange an alternate training date or submit the form below.
