Confirmation Preparation (Youth)
Confirmation at SS. Peter & Paul Church is a two-year process "typically" beginning in 7th grade, although students 8th grade through 11th grade who are not yet confirmed can enroll and begin the two year preparation process. Classes begin in September and run through April/May. Students need to have been baptized and celebrated First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
To help provide a consistent sacramental formation program that shares materials and expectations from our Bishop, our Confirmation preparation is a two year program. This will ensure a specific timeframe in which our teens will be challenged and inspired to reflect on their faith commitment with a coordinated program of formation.

Adult Confirmation classes are available to adults who are 18 years of age and older, who are out of high school, and who have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist.
The preparation for adults is quite different from that of young teens. The process is one of a small-group, adult learning experience. The focus of the program is to connect the practice of our Catholic Faith to our experiences in our everyday lives. For many who participate in this program, it is an opportunity to see, for the first time, the faith of the Church with an adult understanding. Ideas formed in childhood are challenged, developed and nuanced. Some of the topics include the Trinity, sacraments, prayer, and morality and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
