Confirmation Preparation for Adults 

Adult Confirmation classes are available to adults who are 18 years of age and older, who are out of high school, and who have received the Sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. 

The preparation for adults is quite different from that of young teens. The process is one of a small-group, adult learning experience. The focus of the program is to connect the practice of our Catholic Faith to our experiences in our everyday lives. For many who participate in this program, it is an opportunity to see, for the first time, the faith of the Church with an adult understanding. Ideas formed in childhood are challenged, developed and nuanced. Some of the topics include the Trinity, sacraments, prayer, and morality and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Evening sessions are typically held twice a month for a total of 10 clesses.  The Confirmation celebration takes place annually at SS. Peter & Paul and is arranged in accordance with the Bishop’s calendar.
