Darcy Wharton

Darcy is a lifelong Catholic, wife, and mother of three adult daughters, and is currently on staff at this parish as the Coordinator of Adult Faith Formation and Spiritual Direction. 

She has been a parishioner at SS. Peter and Paul since 1989. where she began as a catechist.  Her first staff position was as Middle School coordinator beginning in 1996 and since 2005 she has worked primarily in the field of adult faith formation, providing bible studies, retreats, workshops, and classes for the adults of this parish.  She is also a Master Catechist in the Diocese of Sacramento and has been trained in both Contemplative Dialogue and Dynamic Dialogue, which is aimed at helping people communicate more effectively and peacefully in their families and in the workplace.  She enjoys working with people of all ages and faith traditions.

In 2019, she completed the spiritual direction formation program through Bread of Life Center in Sacramento.  As a Spiritual Director, she is interested in helping people develop and maintain a healthy relationship with God. In a one-on-one, confidential, and supportive environment, she will help you see how God is at work in your life and provide gentle encouragement to you on your faith journey.
