Katie Maynard

Katie has been an active member of SS. Peter & Paul since her childhood.  She was married to her husband Casey of 17 years in our church, and their three young daughters have celebrated their sacraments here as well.  Katie completed her Master of Arts in Theology at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, and previously taught in the Theology Department and directed Service & Justice programming at Jesuit High School in Sacramento for thirteen years.  She is looking forward to continuing the incredible work of Michelle Pfister and the incredible RCIA team, and is honored to accompany our catechumens and candidates in their journeys of faith. 
 
At our parish, she helps facilitate MOMents of Grace (a small faith sharing group for mothers), is a member of the L.O.V.E. (couple’s ministry) core planning team, and is a catechist in the faith formation program.  She enjoys travel and spending time with her family…but most of all she loves finding God in the simple everyday moments of life.
