Mardi Gras CELEBRATION 2025

Come celebrate Mardi Gras!
Tuesday, March 4, 20256:30 pm- 8:00 pm.
SS. Peter & Paul invites you to kick off the Lenten Season at our
2025 MARDI GRAS CELBRATION!The party will begin at 6:30 PM with a Fat Tuesday Pancake Palooza (Pancakes, sausage or bacon & eggs) ... and of course, traditional Kings Cake for dessert!!
There will be music, games, activities for all.
Kids will even have a chance to be king or queen in our Fat Tuesday parade
(see parade details below).The evening will conclude with burning of the palms for Ash Wednesday and a short
prayer service to prepare our hearts for the Lenten season ahead.
Schedule for the evening:
- 6:30 pm: Pancake "breakfast"
- 7:00 pm: Games, activities and parade
- 7:40 pm: Burning of the Palms, prayer
- 8:00 pm: Leave in Silence
Everyone is encouraged to come dressed in
FOR THE PARADE: Our evening festivities will include a Fat Tuesday parade! Everyone is invited to participate by bringing your own decorated "float". Floats can be made from strollers, ride-on toys, wagons, or even a decorated box. If you do not have a float, you can still join in the fun, but we will have prizes for the best decorated floats.
Mardi Gras spirit by wearing the customary colors of green, purple and gold.
Beads and hats will provided to all!
