Stay Mission Experience : Grades 6-12, Summer 2025 the documents are updated in November YearlyThis Summer 2025 we have the unique opportunity to have all the authentic elements of an out-of-state Mission Trip while serving right here in our local community.
Join us for an At Home Mission experience:
STAY - Serving Those Around You!Dates: July 27th-August 1st 2025

What to Expect:- During the day we will be serving our local brothers and sisters in need.
- We have some great worksites and projects set-up for our missionaries...The Gathering Inn, Koinonia, Yard Projects, a local nursery, an art project & more.
- Evening Programming will include inspiring talks, prayer, praise & worship and FUN!
What to Bring/WEAR:- A water bottle
- Sunscreen, a hat and other supplies as needed
- Clothing appropriate for your worksite and sturdy shoes (no flip flops).
- Our overnight Thursday to Friday at SS Peter and Paul will be optional. Evening Session will end at 9PM for those not staying over night. If you are staying, please bring: A Sleeping mat or air mattress, Toiletries, Pajamas and a change of clothes, a sleeping bag, a pillow. You can bring a game to share or a small musical instrument. Parents are invited to join us for Mass on Friday Morning at 8:30 in the church and/or to our closing commissioning on Friday at 2:00 PM and all missionaries will need to be picked up by 2PM on Friday.
Daily Schedule:- Have a hearty breakfast at home or put your name on Robert's List to have a hot breakfast at church Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Meet at SSPP at 8 AM.
- Gather for morning program, assemble lunch (7:50-8:00) and depart for service sites.
- Work at service sites until 2 PM.
- Return for afternoon snack, Siesta time, team meetings and site sharing at SSPP.
- Dinner at 6 PM.
- Evening programming will end by 9 PM.
- Return home for a good nights sleep!
- Sunday 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM will include being blessed at Mass, dinner and programming and Friday will conclude at 2:00 PM.
- There will be an orientation/team gathering that is mandatory for all missionaries and chaperones to attend on the 2 Saturdays prior to the start of the mission week.

General Information RE: TRAVEL MISSION!
- Cost for travel missions will be $1200 per young person under the age of 25. It includes the cost of tuition with Catholic Heart Work Camp. Also we will rent vans, cover the cost of fuel and include meals while we are travelling. The adults' costs are absorbed by the teen missionaries. The deposit for this trip is $200 per participant under the age of 25. Deposits can be made on the payment form below or on the Travel Mission Page. Young adults are invited on this trip as well and they serve in groups with other young adults while on this mission! Please submit documents as soon as possible and no later than February 1st. The application form asks that you:
- Participate in the Youth Ministry Program 60% of the time.
- Treat your fellow teen and adult Missionaries with respect.
- Serve those in need representing yourself, your family, and SS. Peter & Paul Parish.
- Submit all paperwork, deposits and payments on time.
- Participate in the 60% of fundraising events that are held in support of all missionaries.
