Monday Morning Bible Study

Come join us on Zoom for the Monday Morning Bible Study, every Monday 9:30-11 AM.
 
This is a lectionary-based Bible Study. Every Monday, we study the three readings for the following Sunday, so we are then able to spend the whole week preparing for the next Sunday’s Mass. We study the readings in their context in the Bible, in history, and in our daily lives. We try to dig out everything that’s interesting or inspiring or fun about the Sunday readings, and we always seem to have a good time.

There is no charge for this class, and no materials required – although it’s nice to have a Bible. Every weekend, Joe sends out a link to the readings and to supplemental materials that might be of interest to participants. No need to commit to attending every Monday – come when you can.

Instructor Joe Offer has been a catechist since 1966. He has a degree in Theology from St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee. He has taught Bible Studies at St. John Vianney and St. Teresa of Avila parishes since 1986. Joe has been teaching this Bible Study at St. Teresa for twenty years. He’s moved over to Ss. Peter and Paul, and he’d like to invite parishioners to join us.
