What Would Jesus Do? Inc. (WWJD?) is a 100 % volunteer, non-profit organization assisting homeless and working poor in Placer County.
We have been in existence since 1992 feeding an average of 30,000 people each year in South Placer County centered in Roseville, CA. We serve our clients a warm breakfast and provide a bag full of food to take for dinner from a mobile van 365 days each year. We provide emergency shelter and free clothing when required.
We have expanded into Central Placer County, and are providing the same service from our mobile van centered in Auburn, CA.
What We Do
We provide clothing, blankets, tarps, sleeping bags, toiletries, laundry soap, dog food, and other sundries for our clients.
We provide volunteer nurses and doctors to attend to immediate medical needs. We provide assistance in obtaining authorized medical services.
We provide Social Service volunteers to help to those in need of services with:
Referrals to other homeless services
SSI assistance
Transportation to medical appointments
Employment Development Department
Local job training agencies
Veteran’s agencies
Disability services
Burial arrangements
Life skills training

Referral to various county program support services
Mental health referrals
Why We Do It
We believe the homeless and others in need deserve an opportunity to work their way back into the mainstream of society.
Even if many of the needy we serve fail to achieve this goal, we believe trying is important, and some minimum support should be extended to those unable to achieve self support.
