We are so glad you are here! You are awesome. You matter and you are loved! And we can't wait to meet you and welcome you to our circle!
Youth Ministry Youth Group Gatherings are year round and you can join us at any time!
Small Faith Groups meet monthly beginning in September through May, while several Social Events, Enrichment trips, Retreats, Social Justice and Service Projects, and an annual Mission experience, locally and travelling, occur at different times throughout the year.
Registration is required. Please fill out a participation form and submit your payment below or bring a check or cash to the parish office - Attn: Nancy
Flocknote and Remind are our primary forms of communication so to be added to those distribution lists, please email Nancy Von Thaden. [email protected] or text her at (916)343-1168. We also have the main fundraisers and extra events posted on our LifeTeen Events Page!
The Chosen Season 3 and Dungeons and Dragons are our current programming choices and we alternate them on Wednesday nights from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM in Room 11. Join us and bring a friend! RSVP by texting Nancy @(916)343-1168! Through the summer and continuing this fall, our Dungeon Master James will be leading us every other Wednesday in a lively scenario of Dungeons and Dragons, a game of imagination that involves the use of dice to determine outcomes... so it also involves math... join us if you would like to try it out!
Life Nights (Youth Group Meetings) Download the Youth Ministry Calendar and also our KickOff Flyer and Pass them out to all your friends. Come to Mass on September 1st to receive a flyer and on the 8th to receive your playing card to bring to Youth Group that night! You will need it to have the max amount of fun!
We meet weekly on Sundays in person and on campus in the Multipurpose Room at 6:00 PM . Dinner is always served and afterwards we either have a social night, a topic night or a service night. We have a theme for the year that guides our topics on faith, life, and issues relevant to high schoolers.
This year's theme is Firm Foundations in Friendship! We look forward to a year filled with opportunities to be aware of the different ways that God is calling us to be a good friend and build a firm foundation of a friendship with Jesus... especially in this world that needs that example and good energy so much!
And as always we are looking out for the ways that we see God working in the world around us! "When we feel far from God, guess who moved?"
On occasion we have guest speakers! Bring your friends and join us for a fun and relevant look into our faith!
Small Faith Groups
We meet in Small Faith Communities once a month, typically on Sunday evenings. The Small Faith Groups are each unique extensions of the youth group meetings where young people and their adult leaders can go a little deeper and gain a new perspective on the topics being presented.
Retreats
We have two retreats each year and all high school students are welcome to join in the fun, regardless of whether they participate regularly in the youth ministry or not. Check out the retreat page for information on upcoming retreats.
Mission Trip
Each year, teens participate in a Mission Trip with a Catholic organization called Catholic Heart Work Camp! We will post on our Mission page when we decide where we are going next summer!
We will also be sponsoring our STAY (Serving Those Around You) Mission, serving locally. Check out information for both of these service opportunities under our Mission Page!
